A motorcyclist on his way home from a rally lost his prostethic leg while riding, WMUR-TV in Manchester, N.H., reported.
State police said it was incredible he was able to safely glide to a stop and there were no accidents.
Manchester firefighters searched the side of the interstate and found the prosthetic.
They were able to reattach it and send the motorcyclist on his way home to New Bedford, Mass.
Emergency workers said because the man didn't need any medical care they never got his name.
They escorted him to meet up with his friends, who rode with him home to Massachusetts."
